An evaluation of keyboard response times and their significance

For many gaming gear companies, the response times of their keyboards has been a major selling point. However, the number that they provide is dubious at best. The consumer is forced to take the marketing division's word for the response times. This simple study aims to quantify the claims of the companies, evaluate the significance of response times, and investigate which factors effect the keyboard's response times in order to provide consumers and other keyboard designers with information that they can use when purchasing or designing a keyboard.
